Participating Members in good standing who hold the FPR™ designation and demonstrate skills proficiency through either reciprocity of certification of the National Court Reporters Association or after successful passage of skills testing of 200 words per minute for five minutes for testimony (Q&A) material and 180 words per minute for five minutes of literary/judicial material at 95% accuracy. |

Stenographic Court Reporting Students |
Any student of stenographic court reporting may take the FPR™ exam, although certification is deferred pending proof of graduation from a court reporting program or entry into the practice of court reporting. |

Any scopist actively providing services to the court reporting profession may take the FPR™ exam. |

Owners/Managers |
Anyone involved in their professional capacity as a manager or owner in the court reporting profession may take the FPR™ exam. |

Court Reporting Instructors |
Teachers of court reporting or anyone connected in an official capacity with a school or college conducting a court reporting program may take the FPR™ exam. |
